Your data, plainly

Location info is for you and your community — nothing else

This is our privacy policy in plain English. It works alongside our terms and listing disclaimer.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email, username and first name, plus an optional favorite sport. If you save a place, log a visit, or post a review or comment, we store that too so it can appear in your profile and on the location page.

Device location is only used to find nearby places

If you choose to share your device location, it is used in your browser to show places near you. We do not store it on our servers and we do not share it with anyone. You can decline and search by city, state or ZIP instead — every results page has a manual search box.

Only for your own lists

The places you mark as favorites or visited are stored against your account so you can find them again. They are visible to you.

Only for community feedback you choose

Reviews and comments you post are public — with your username — because they help other players. Nothing is posted for you automatically.

We do not sell your personal data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your account details or location history to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. There is no advertising tracking in TRACCT Sports.

Service providers

We use hosting and database providers to run the app and store your account and content. They process this data on our behalf so the app works, and not for their own marketing.

You can remove it

Delete a favorite, a visited place, a review, or a comment at any time and it is gone from your account. If you want your whole account and its content removed, ask us and we will remove it.

Security and changes

We use industry-standard protections such as encrypted connections and row-level access rules, though no online service can promise perfect security. If this policy changes as features are added, we will update this page.
